Scott is the producer of more than 300 major concerts all over the world and countless nightclub shows, including a steady stream of sold out shows for Feinstein’s/54 Below. He is perhaps best known as the creator/writer/director/host of Town Hall’s critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series, which just recently concluded its 17th season. 'Elsie Janis and the Boys' will have a reading on Thursday, June 11th,  at the York! About Elsie Janis, the super trooper 'Bob Hope of WWI'. Featuring a score that's half original and half vintage WWI era songs - the ultimate throwback Thursday!! Jillian Louis portrays Elsie Janis, with husband Keith Varney as one of the boys!!!  New music and arrangements by John Prestianni and book by Carol Crittenden.

 

In March Jillian performed the role of Elizabeth Banvard in the Drama League's readings of Georama, a biomusical about iconic American artist John Banvard, book by West Hyler and music by Matt Schatz and Jack Herrick, with Charity Wicks, Miles Aubrey, Eric Anderson, Mark Jacoby, and Randy Blair.    She and Jack Herrick performed at Playwrights Horizons' annual gala, singing Jack's song Blow Out the Candle from his show Wilder.

Mar ‘13- Jillian will present Georama, the new musical by author-director West Hyler, Kleban Prize-winning composer Matt Schatz and Jack Herrick of the Red Clay Ramblers.  Georama tells the story of American artist John Banvard, who traveled the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers as a young man in the mid-1800s. 

 

Feb ‘13- Jillian will present a concert of Tom and Jack Megan’s The Kid Who Would Be Pope, playing novice Sister Katherine, in CT.   Jillian will also play the role of “Sarah” in the new weight-loss musical “Winners,” and create roles in two brand-new workshops, playing “Valerie Ashley” in the new musical “I Am, I Will, I Do” and “Kitty” in “Too Hot for Hollywood.”  Jillian will reprise the role of Ainsley in Gretchen Cryer and David Ippolito’s “Possibility Junkie” at the Thalia Theatre, and create the role of “Alice Roosevelt” in Gretchen Cryer and Nancy Ford’s untitled new musical about the Roosevelts.   Check back for tickets to all!

Jun ‘12— Jillian worked with Tom Jones on his reading of “The Game of Love” at the York’s Mufti series, playing “Annie.” Directed by West Hyler, starring Santino Fontana, Janet Dacal, Erin Davie, and many others.

 

Mar ‘12— Jillian will rejoin the cast of a lovely new musical produced by Amas Musical Theatre, directed by Kent Nicholson, with Philip Hoffman, Annie Golden, Pia Glenn, and Javier Munoz.

 

Feb ‘12— Jillian will play “Lucy Steele” in Jeremy Yaddaw and Neal Hampton’s Sense and Sensibility directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge at the Denver Center’s New Play Summit.  

 

Jan ‘12— Jillian performs in a new reading of an adaptation of the classic The Honeymooners sitcom, directed by Jerry Mitchell.

2011-12—Jillian films the indie feature Mount Joy on location, playing “Ida.”

 

Fall 2011—Jillian will play “Sister Katherine” in The Kid Who Would be Pope” at the NYMF directed by Gabriel Barre!

 

Summer 2011—Jillian performs at the prestigious NY Stage & Film.

 

Summer 2011— Jillian will work with Gretchen Cryer and Nancy Ford on a concert reading of their feminist icon, I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking It on The Road at The York.  With Jen Colella, West Hyler directs.

 

 

Spring 2011— Jillian plays the female lead in a reading of Ben Morss and Ari Laura Kreith’s How I Was Radicalized. 

 

Jan-April ‘11— Jillian will play Laura in Walnut Street Theatre’s production of The Glass Menagerie.
